	The model was originally to be included in the 2020 1-100 range as MB004, however due to production delays, it was eventually released as an exclusive item on the Western Star online store: www.shopwesternstargear.com It debuted as part of the 2021 Convoy range.

John Nijhuis, September 2022 At last I could lay my hands on the new casting MB1202 Western Star 4900 Cab issued end of 2021 or early 2022. The casting was announced in 2020 as #4 of the standard MB75 range but later moved to the Convoy Section. So far mnodel has not been issued as a single model. The 1962 Nissan Junior pick Up was issued as #89 in the regular MB75 range of 2019. I bought the truck in the USA. I have no reports that the truck was also issued in Europe.

John Nijhuis, 18 March 2022 Did receive the first (?) wave of 2022 (Box 956F-3301A1)in a box of 6 cars. However it is wave A the models are different of the ones Charlie Portelli spotted (see pictures below). This red Western Star 49X Day Cab Tractor and Tanker Trailer was not in this box of 6 and also the International LoneStar Trailer (2020 1/8) which in 2022 comes with MB720 1972 Ford Bronco is not part of this box. The box contained 2 Convoys which were a repeat of 2020 but, with another single MB 75 model: 2/8 MB1110 Tesla Semi Trailer (2020 2/8) with in 2022 the MB1230 Tesla Roadster (2021 1-100 issue)) 7/8 MB1150 MBX Cabover Auto Transport (2020 7/8) with in 2022 the MB812 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS 2020 5-pack issue)) Furthermore the following all repeat of 2020 convoys. 1/8 MB1150 MBX Cabover and Tanker (all repeat of 2020 3/8) 4/8 MB0977 2013 Ford Cargo and Logger Bed Trailer (all repeat of 2020 4/8) 8/8 MB1150 MBX Cabover Box Trailer (all repeat of 2020 6/8) All convoys 1x except 8/8 which was 2x in the box. All Convoys have a newly designed Blister Front.
