- This list only deals with "classic" suitcase-like carry cases for the 1-75 series
without any play environments. Environmental play cases, cases for series other
than 1-75 and cases of other shapes (toolboxes, steering wheels, robots,
garages, trucks, racing cars etc.) are therefore excluded.
- All cases described in this list contain plastic trays with twelve compartments each,
except for those early types with cardboard trays as mentioned below.
- All cases but the two oldest US issues are said to have been made by Lesney Products &
Co. Ltd. or Matchbox International Ltd.
