Buick Skylark 1953
The Skylark was introduced by Buick as a serious competitor to Cadillac's Eldorado and the Oldsmobile Fiesta. The engine was Buick's new ohv. V8 of 5280 ccs capable of developing 188 BHP gross. The convertible bodywork featured open wheel wells and was fitted with expensive forty spoke Borranti wire wheels. Top speed 170 KPH or 108MPH.
