In the USA I picked
up 3 of the 4 new DVD sets (thanks to Real Morenci!). The set has one DVD in it
and eacht set has 2 different models. So far reports came only from Canada on
availability. There are 4 set available according to the packaging:
Construction Kings
Junkyard Giants
Trash Titans
Fire (not seen so far)
The packaging can be opened simply. So you can run the DVD, which to my opinion
are very nice! |

I found a new Auto play set. It maybe no more then a new cover and model, as I
didn't open it up to see the insides. As you can see from the photo it is the
same tow, just repainted. |

"Sticker Fun Egg Mobiles" are to be found in Stop 'n' Shop: includes three eggs (red, purple, and greenish),
a sheet of stickers in an Easter basket style package.
The only car found that looked like it was different, was in set 12, a white
and black Tractor Shovel. All the rest of the cars looked like they came from
either
5 Packs, 10 Packs, or Play sets. According to David Tilley this model will be
used later in the year with the DVD project. |

Some had names or more tampo then I remember. An example is,
one of the Fire Engines has the name of a town on it, and the blue Tractor
Shovel has a marking on it that says old 29. Also you will see that I tried to
include the factory numbers with each vehicle. Please check these as this is my
first time using these numbers. Some were easy as they were on the bottom of the
models, other I took the markings off the body itself. The number of the basket can be found embossed on the back side of the package close
to the green Environmental Logo. |

Recently a Fire Rescue Transporter was released in USA that
contained 5 vehicles with it. Two of them, MB564 Foam Fire Truck and MB563
Water Pumper, were a part of a 2006 5-pack. The MB568 Sport SUV
will appear elsewhere during 2008. But the other 2 are exclusive
to the pack. There is an MB613 Boom Fire Truck and a Lime Gold MB698 Fire Tamer with the play set. A running change is being made to make
this model the same as shown on the picture. A yellow Flame Tamer
will appear in future runs of this set. This yellow Flame Tamer is
also in one
of the 2008 Batch A 10-packs (the one with the
lavender MB298 1968 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet).

I know it's a little early, but look what I found (see photos). The packs have a
number embossed at the lower right hand corner of the blister. So far the
following have been reported with the special Desert Thunder
#1 : Desert
Thunder / Off-Road Rider
#2 : Desert Thunder / Fire Truck
#3 : Desert Thunder / Airport Fire Tanker
#5 : Desert Thunder / Tractor Shovel
Models can be found at Ralphs, Vons, Shop and Go, A & P. |

During my trip in Detroit I found several nice things. In the Toys-R-Yours I
found a 20 model Carry Case (made by TARA). It is similar as the Hotwheel case.
It's a miracle if you can really get in 20 models! Price is fantastic: $ 5.99!!! |
