On the day of Argentina - Germany (0 - 4!) Drik Schleuer opened
his new shop in Solingen. There was a warm welcome for many Matchbox Collectors
that day. Drinks, Food, New Shop....everything was perfectly well organized by
Dirk and his partner. And last but not least each visitor got a very nice model
with the opening date of his shop. We wish Dirk all the best and hope the shop
will frequently be visited by many Matchbox Collectors. For opening times

The 1975 Stepside Chevy Pick Up model is the second of 4 model cars MCCD (Matchbox
Club Germany) will issue. The schedule is that 4 special models will be issued

Cadillac Sedan de Ville was issued during the final MICA Convention in England
and was handed out to everyone who showed interest to the Club. |

Steve and Eva Gall, 19 February
We made a fundraising promotional model to raise money for Haiti.
Maybe they can help us to raise money. We provided the models and paid about
half of the usual charge to ColorComp.; the other half was their donation. There
were only 30 models made. All the proceedings will be forwarded to the Red Cross
